Overwatch 2 has revealed some exciting new details about their upcoming June Open Beta coming to PC and consoles.
This will be the first time Overwatch 2 hosts an open beta and the first time console players can try out the new 5v5 format.
Overwatch 2 was first announced as a sequel, but lately, it seems more like an expansion for the game’s multiplayer aspect. Overwatch 2 and Overwatch will have a seamlessly integrated multiplayer aspect despite being different games.
Here’s everything you need to know to sign up for the upcoming Overwatch 2 Open Beta.
Overwatch 2 Open Beta Coming to Consoles With Junker Queen + New Map
The Overwatch 2 Open Beta will begin on June 28 and bring the newly revealed Junker Queen hero and a brand new map for players to enjoy.
The official Overwatch Twitter revealed this today. They also revealed that players would be able to sign up for the Open Beta starting on June 16.
They haven’t revealed the exact details, but we expect it to be similar to how sign-ups worked for their invite-only closed beta. Except for this time, it will be an open beta. So you are guaranteed entry into the Open Beta as long as you sign-up!
But if, for some reason, you aren’t able to participate in the Open Beta, then don’t panic. Overwatch 2 PVP will be free-to-play once it officially releases.
