Over the past couple of weeks, Star Wars has taken over the Fortnite Island. Players have been able to get their hands on lightsabers, blaster rifles, and use the force.
Additionally, Clone Troopers have set up base and have been peaceful towards gamers. However, that is all about to change.
What Is Order 66 in Fortnite?
Order 66 is a protocol trained into the Clone Troopers. This command would turn the troopers against every Jedi, labeling them traitors.
In this case, the Clone Troopers turn against every player in the Fortnite lobby. You must be aware of your surroundings, as a trooper could be nearby waiting to gun you down.
While the troopers were previously friendly and would only attack once damaged, they are now constantly hostile.
Players must also be wary as they no longer remain in the Clone Trooper checkpoints and will freely roam around the map in search of traitors.
However, killing this NPC will always drop the powerful DC-15 Blaster rifle, which can help you rack up more kills or win the game.
Who Announces Order 66 in Fortnite?
The person who says “execute Order 66” is Sheev Palpatine, also known as Darth Sidious. In Star Wars lore, Palpatine is a Dark Lord of the Sith who ruled the Galactic Empire as Emperor.
He used his two identities to deceive his way into power and further his Sith agenda. In the franchise, Darth Sidious is the one who uses Order 66.
