The best location to find the ODM Gear in Fortnite is Anvil Square. This is because players can always find a Scout Regiment Footlocker at the Jaeger’s Family Basement landmark located exclusively in Anvil Square.
The Scout Regiment Footlocker is guaranteed to have both the ODM Gear and the explosive Thunder Spear weapon.
To locate the Scout Regiment Footlocker in Anvil Square, head to the building on the map below and down the stairs.
However, you can find the ODM Gear weapon all across the map. So, if you can’t locate it in Anvil Square, it is worth trying any of the best landing spots in Chapter 4 Season 2.
What is the ODM Gear in Fortnite?
The ODM Gear (Omni-Directional Mobility Gear) is a set of wearable blades from the Attack on Titan manga and anime series.
In Fortnite, players can use it to grapple onto the environment and propel themselves toward it. You can also grapple onto other players and use the two blades to deal a lot of damage.
Once you’ve attacked your enemy with it, you’ll be boosted into the air allowing you to grapple onto something else and fly away.
In the Attack on Titan anime and manga, the ODM gear is made up of two grappling hooks powered by a compressed gas cylinder. Soldiers use it to massively boost their mobility when fighting Titans.
