While a No Man’s Sky Switch listing has surfaced on GameStop’s trade-in system, it appears as though the title might be coming to Nintendo‘s latest hybrid console. Then again, there’s always the possibility that the listing is a mistake.
No Man’s Sky Switch – GameStop Listing
While No Man’s Sky initially released as a PlayStation 4 exclusive, the listing has certainly raised a few eyebrows. The game has landed on other platforms, however. The action-adventure title was made available to Xbox One players in July 2018. While there is no exclusivity deal anymore, not much is holding it back from releasing on Switch.
Whether you’re an avid fan of the game or not, No Man’s Sky features four main elements: exploration, survival, combat, and trading. Each of which adds to the immersive, action-adventure experience it has on offer.
No Man’s Sky arrived on August 9th, 2016. The game has been somewhat acclaimed from the community since then. Therefore, if the title does arrive on the Switch, then Nintendo fans could potentially be in for a treat.
Until Nintendo or Hello Games confirm anything themselves, we advise fans to remain sceptical. Although the title has received a listing on GameStop’s trade-in system, it’s most likely just a mistake at the end of the day.
Whether or not the title is on the horizon for Nintendo Switch, we’ll probably find out tomorrow during the E3 2019 Direct presentation. The next presentation will air on Tuesday, June 11 at 5pm BST.
Nintendo has already confirmed that the next Smash Bros Ultimate DLC fighter will be announced, in addition to other software announcements. While the livestream is scheduled to broadcast for a grand total of 40 minutes, we can certainly expect to see a fair bit announced.
What are your thoughts on the prospect of No Man’s Sky making its way to the Nintendo Switch? Our money’s on the listing just being a mistake on GameStop’s behalf, but stranger things have happened…
