Nintendo Direct at E3 2019 – 40 Minutes

Popular streaming site Niconico has claimed that the upcoming Nintendo Direct will air for roughly 40 minutes. In the past, they have surfaced for approximately 35 minutes, but this one appears to have little more than expected in store. This has been supported by previous rumors and leaks.

Niconico will broadcast the presentation, which takes place on June 11 at 9 AM PT / 12 PM ET / 5 PM BST.

Nintendo has confirmed some of the features we can expect to see at the Direct. Further to this, an array of rumors and leaks may have also provided a few spoilers.

NEW INTEL: Rumor – Next Pokemon Direct may be coming August 31, 2019.

The Witcher 3 and Spyro Reignited Trilogy on Switch have been heavily rumored as of recently, for example.

While a whole host of placeholder listings have surfaced on Amazon and Gamestop, we can certainly expect the Nintendo Direct to feature a colossal amount of announcements. Although one placeholder was a ‘Nintendo Switch Console Dummy’, the Big N has already confirmed that the Direct will entail software only announcements.

Next Smash Bros Ultimate DLC Fighter Announcement

Back in April, Nintendo introduced Persona 5’s protagonist, The Joker, to Super Smash Bros Ultimate. The character was revealed a few months prior to its launch, which took the community by storm. Now, all eyes are focused on what’s next for the recently launched title.

The next Super Smash Bros Ultimate DLC character has prompted speculation within the community throughout the past few months. Now, speculation will be put to rest following the upcoming Nintendo Direct at 5pm BST on June 11.

During yesterday’s Super Smash Bros. Ultimate World Championship 2019 3v3 tournament, director Masahiro Sakurai confirmed the next fighter will indeed be revealed. Many were fixed on the idea of Nintendo announcing the character during the tournament itself, but that clearly wasn’t the case.

It’s unclear as to who will make it into the game next. Rumors and leaks have suggested Banjo will be the next fighter. Gaming INTEL is not completely sold on this prospect, however.
