We have received exclusive information regarding Shiny Alakazam coming to Pokemon Go as a Raid Boss. This particular leaker has been correct on many Pokemon Go leaks before.
Shiny Alakazam Leak
The leaker has stated some specific information with what we should expect to happen.
- Alakazam Raid Boss Battle
- Date: April 7th, 2019
- Details: 5 passes free
- Duration: 3 hours of Raid
- Shiny or Normal? Shiny
This is a Special Raid Event which happens once per month in Pokemon Go. In March we had Rayquaza and February we had Latias. This particular Raid will not be an exclusive Raid.
Alakazam in Pokemon Go
Alakazam is a Psychic type Pokemon which is vulnerable to Bug, Dark and Ghost types whilst resistant to Fighting and Psychic types. Shiny Alakazam has never been available in Pokemon Go before and this will be a first for players. It is expected to have different spawn animation and colouring, such as the pink instead of the usual brown.
This particular Pokemon is boosted in windy weather and has the following stats:
Max CP: 3057
Strongest Moves: Confusion and Futuresight
Alakazam Raid Counters are Mewtwo, Tyranitar, Gengar, Honchkrow, Weaving and Handoom.
Shiny Alakazam Release Date
The leaker states the new form will be coming in just over 3 weeks:
“Shiny Alakazam will release on a Special Raid Event on April 7th, 2019.”
Providing the leak stays true, this information will be officially confirmed soon. Also, Shiny Abra isn’t released yet in Pokémon Go so we can expect Shiny Abra’s release very soon.
How to get a Raid Pass for Alakazam
You will need a Raid Pass but there are two ways to obtain these. This allows you to participate in Raid Boss Battles.
- Normal Raid Pass – These are found at Gyms when you spin the discs and are free.
- Premium Raid Pass – Purchased from the in-game store at a cost of 100 coins.
Stay tuned for more Pokemon Go leaks from our exclusive sources. We stress once again this is a leak, but hasn’t been officially confirmed. However, we hold this source in great confidence. We will follow this up once we see an announcement.
