Both N64 and Sega Genesis titles arrive on the Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack today, October 25!
It’s finally time for the Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack to arrive, and it’s bringing with it some high-quality titles.
If you were a fan of the Nintendo 64 or Sega Mega Drive era, be sure to check out the new service upgrade.
However, despite being excited about the ability to play old classics, fans aren’t entirely happy with the new upgrade. After all, many fans are angry at the huge Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack price!
It’s certainly more than most fans were anticipating, but the cost is nothing compared to what scalpers are selling the new Limited Edition controllers for!
Every Sega Genesis/Mega Drive Game Coming to Switch Online Expansion Pack
If you’re a Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack owner, here are the Sega Genesis (AKA Mega Drive) games you can enjoy today:

- Musha
- Shining Force
- Sonic The Hedgehog 2
- Dr Robotnik’s Mean Bean Machine
- Streets of Rage
- Shinobi 3
- Ecco The Dolphin
- Gunstar Heroes
- Phantasy Star 4
- Castlevania Bloodlines
- Contra Hard Corps
- Ristar
On top of the titles above, Expansion Pack owners can also look forward to getting the new Animal Crossing Happy Home Paradise DLC for free!
You’ll need to wait until November 5 for that additional DLC to go live. But with fans losing their mind over this Animal Crossing addition, we’d say it’s worth the wait.
Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack’s Future Games
Nintendo is already officially revealing what Nintendo games are coming to the Expansion Pack next!
You can check out those titles and all the N64 games launching on Nintendo Switch Online here! With the pricing how it is, we imagine that the publisher will be quick to add more classic titles to the Expansion Pack line-up soon.
