A new Nintendo IndieWorld Showcase is arriving today at 9 a.m. PT. The Showcase will deliver around twenty minutes of new information on upcoming indie titles coming to the Nintendo Switch.
Switch owners rejoice, after a surprise announcement from Nintendo of America on Twitter, fans can expect to see some exciting announcements from the latest IndieWorld presentation.
Recently, a huge Nintendo leak revealed a ton of new Nintendo games coming to the console. However, indie games are also an integral part of the Nintendo Switch experience.
Now, Switch owners are going to be treated to a new Nintendo IndieWorld Showcase. The presentation should give fans something to look forward to for the time being.
Although Nintendo has recently made a statement claiming that they want to focus on creating ‘new game series’ in the future, Indie games are the perfect fit whilst players wait for new big release Nintendo titles.

The latest Nintendo IndieWorld Showcase might not be as exciting as a regular Nintendo Direct, however, there are still likely to be some exciting announcements.
Despite this, fans are eagerly preparing themselves for what kinds of announcements may arrive today. Interestingly, one of the most requested news updates is the Silk Song DLC for Hollow Knight.
However, Nintendo has plans to release a major Direct announcement for E3, which is set to arrive in June 2021. So don’t expect any major announcements from this IndieWorld Showcase.
Players are eager to see some new announcements. Interestingly, the tweet from Nintendo America seems to confirm that the presentation will center around ‘fresh and new‘ indie games coming to Nintendo Switch.
Interestingly, in a recent firmware update, new Nintendo Switch Pro details were revealed. References to the Switch Pro were found in the latest update which has shed light on the rumored console. Perhaps Nintendo wants to keep players busy with indie titles whilst they prepare for the Switch Pro launch.

Furthermore, the Nintendo Switch Pro could be coming in 2021, according to new information. If the rumors are correct, Nintendo should have a few surprises up their sleeves for fans once the console is officially revealed. Especially considering Zelda BOTW 2 may be a Switch Pro launch title.
Similarly, the Nintendo Switch Pro may feature 4K, with new Nvidia DLSS in 2021. This could mean that the Switch Pro may be a good competitor for the likes of the Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5.
