We all know that Warzone has a cheating problem, but NICKMERCS could have finally explained why the number of hackers continues to rise.
Hackers are a major problem in any multiplayer game. And, unfortunately, Warzone has been hit pretty badly by cheaters since it launched last year.
Despite developer Raven Software banning over half a million cheaters so far, the hacking problem in Warzone is now worse than ever. Although, popular YouTuber and streamer NICKMERCS has an idea why the Warzone hackers have got so out of control.
Why Are There So Many Warzone Hackers Now?
In case you haven’t dropped into Verdansk recently, Warzone cheaters are getting worse and worse, according to players. This making the game almost unplayable in Season 4.
NICKMERCS believes the number of hackers rising is actually a consequence of players getting better. As top players get better, the low-skilled players quit the game.
This causes every lobby to be a lot more competitive. Then, unfortunately, more players become hackers to compete and get Warzone wins.
“And what does that leave us with? A bunch of sweats and a bunch of hackers.”NICKMERCS
Therefore, if NICKMERCS‘ theory is true, the only real way to stop Warzone hackers is by removing SBMM. Although, an even better idea that players want is a ranked mode in Warzone.
Also, Activision is now investing more resources into Warzone anti-cheat. So, the hacking problem should hopefully be under control when that eventually gets released.
In other news, Warzone players hate the current meta. The game requires no skill if all the weapons have no recoil!
