When you're having a bad day, sometimes playing Warzone a little differently is the best way to have fun. That's why NICKMERCS, TimTheTatman, and Cloakzy decided to do a no guns run at Warzone.
As a high-profile Warzone streamer, you're going to come up against a lot of malicious players in-game. Even with your best efforts, there's no way to avoid the hundreds of viewers that are attempting to stream snipe your every move.
And after several games of having no fun, NICKMERCS, along with TimTheTatman, and Cloakzy, decided to have a more relaxed game of the battle royale.
NICKMERCS calls the game the no gun Warzone challenge, and it's exactly what it says on the tin. After getting their loadouts, the trio aim to win a game of Warzone without firing another bullet.
The streamers are known for enjoying a wacky challenge from time to time. After all, NICKMERCS and TimTheTatman once lead an army of stream snipers into battle.
Warzone Streamers Win the Game Without Using Guns
Remarkably, the talented Warzone streamers do manage to win a Warzone Victory without the use of guns.
The players do use their weapon up until they can secure their loadouts however, we imagine it'd be a near-impossible challenge without that ability.
Once the team acquires their loadouts of choice, each member is running a Riot Shield and Kali Sticks build.
It's worth noting that Warzone's melee attacks are famously overpowered, but it's still hard to get in on enemies with this loadout.
Warzone fans also poke fun at Riot Shield players for being cowards, but this challenge makes for some entertaining gameplay.
Right off the bat, the team chases a lone truck driver from their helicopter, disabling his vehicle with thermite before rushing him for the beatdown.
Throughout the game, the streamers make excellent use of stun and flash grenades to disable their targets. Then the next thing the enemies witness is an incoming barrage of Kali Sticks.
There are also some of the best thermite plays in Warzone history in the full game.
At the end of the game, NICKMERCS's team is left with not only the Warzone Victory but a whopping 40 kills between them.
It's not quite the recently smashed Warzone World Record but it's definitely an excellent no gun run.
It's good to enjoy this map while we can, as a new Warzone leak suggests that Verdansk will never return.
That means that when Verdansk is destroyed in the upcoming Nuke event, it may never come back.
But even before that happens, Zombies are beginning to leave the Shipwreck and spread across the Warzone map. Verdansk will soon never be the same, so we should make the best of our remaining time here.
