Over the last few weeks, we’ve been hearing rumblings about certain soccer (or football) players coming to Call of Duty MW2.
There have been whispers, leaked images, and now official confirmation that Neymar Jr, Pogba, and Messi are arriving as COD Operators.

Are Football Players Coming to Call of Duty MW2?
Yes, it’s official, Call of Duty players will be able to play as their favorite soccer icons in MW2, Warzone 2.0, and COD Mobile.
In a new Tweet from Call of Duty, the franchise confirms that Pogba, Neymar Jr, and Messi are ‘suiting up for a new type of game.’
What Soccer Players Are Coming to MW2?
So far, Neymar da Silva Santos Júnior, Paul Pogba, and Lionel Messi are all confirmed to be coming to MW2, as well as Warzone 2.0 and COD Mobile.
Other soccer favorites could be coming in future to join the iconic players, but none have been revealed so far.
How to Get Messi, Pogba, and Neymar Jr in MW2
All 3 soccer players, including Messi, Pogba, and Neymar Jr, will be available to purchase in Operator bundles from the MW2 Store.
Although no price has been revealed for these bundles, they are expected to cost around 2,400 COD Points each, which is equal to $20.
Neymar Jr Release Date

Neymar Jr will come to the Call of Duty Store on November 21. The Operator will then be available to purchase in a limited-time bundle in MW2 or Warzone 2.0.
Pogba Release Date

Paul Pogba will come to the Call of Duty Store on November 25. The Operator will then be available to purchase in a limited-time bundle in MW2 or Warzone 2.0.
Messi Release Date

Lionel Messi will come to the Call of Duty Store on November 29. The Operator will then be available to purchase in a limited-time bundle in MW2 or Warzone 2.0.
What Do Neymar Jr, Pogba, and Messi Look Like in MW2?
All three soccer players actually look surprisingly good, wearing full tactical gear that doesn’t look out of place in Modern Warfare’s setting.

And it’s not just soccer players that are on the way. The leaks were correct and a football-themed map and Limited Time Mode are coming to MW2 soon!
According to Activision, a limited-time CODBall mode a community Support Your Team Pick-em minigame will be coming during Season 1.
