This frog-like electric Pokemon debuted in the “Meet Bellibolt” trailer which you can watch below. It is enormous, squishy, and can generate electricity in its belly by expanding its body.

Most notably, this surprisingly fast Pokemon has odd bumps on the sides of its head that look like eyes. In fact, keen-eyed fans will have noticed its eyes are actually in the center of its face.

What Are Bellibolt’s Abilities?

Bellibolt has a completely new ability that Pokemon fans have never experienced before called Electromorphosis.

When Bellibolt can use Electromorphosis by being hit. He becomes charged when attacked which boosts the power of the next Electric-type move it uses.

Essentially, what doesn’t kill it makes it a lot stronger, and it allows players who are dealt a lot of damage to repay the favor.

You can see Bellibolt in action in the trailer below where he uses moves like mud-slap alongside a variety of others too.
