New Battlefield 2042 Gameplay Trailer Reveals 3 New Maps

The latest Battlefield 2042 gameplay trailer has revealed 3 of the vast new maps that will be coming to the game at launch.

Battlefield 2042 is one of the most highly anticipated games in the world right now. It is only a couple of weeks away now and the excitement has never been higher.

However, we had seen very little gameplay from the finished version of the game until now.

Luckily, DICE has just revealed a trailer that shows off 3 more of the huge Battlefield 2042 maps. Check out the gameplay trailer featuring Renewal, Breakaway, and Discarded below.

Battlefield 2042 Discarded Map

New Battlefield 2042 Trailer Reveals Renewal, Breakaway & Discarded Maps

Battlefield fans have been spoiled with new information over the last few weeks. First, DICE unveiled the exciting new Hazard Zone game mode and then revealed the final 5 Battlefield 2042 Specialists.

However, this latest announcement may be the most exciting of the lot. DICE has finally shared the gameplay of 3 more maps launching with Battlefield 2042.

The 3 maps shown off in the new gameplay trailer are Renewal, Breakaway, and Discarded.

Renewal is a map of two halves set in Egypt. One is a sandy desert while the other is rich agricultural land. Players will be fighting alongside a huge wall that divides these two vastly different areas.

Battlefield 2042 Breakaway Map

Next, the freezing cold of Antarctica is where Battlefield 2042 map Breakaway takes place. This snowy map has fuel tanks and silos which players can destroy to create huge fires.

Finally, Discarded is set on the west coast of India. Players will fight amongst the huge stranded container ships whilst avoiding deadly storms.

Which of the 3 Battlefield 2042 maps do you like the look of most? Let’s hope they play just as good as they look and that the huge differences in map size between next-gen and old gen don’t make too much of a difference.
