We finally have some new Battlefield 2042 gameplay showing some of the game’s Specialists in action!
We were just beginning to get worried about Battlefield 2042. After all, it’s only a matter of weeks until the game officially releases, and we’ve barely seen anything in the way of gameplay.
We did get a Battlefield 2042 gameplay trailer recently, but the footage actually shows off very little first-person content.
And then on top of that, the leaked Battlefield 2042 Technical Preview gameplay did not look as good as we were hoping. However, that footage was top-secret testing, and not for the public to see.
It was obvious that playtesters were going to leak their experiences however. But those players who did leak the Battlefield gameplay will be banned forever, according to EA.
Now, we’re getting more official gameplay for Battlefield 2042, showing 4 Specialists in action!
Battlefield 2042 Specialist Gameplay Revealed
Finally, we have some new gameplay footage of Battlefield 2042 – and these short clips focus on the game’s Specialists.
Here’s everything we know about the Battlefield 2042 Specialists so far! The new character selection replaces the standard Battlefield class roles, which is already causing some friction in the game’s community.
In fact, it seems that Battlefield 2042 Specialists are not popular already. We’ll have to wait and see how the fans respond to these new gameplay clips though!
Thanks to feedback from the recent Technical Playtest, DICE is making big changes to Falck’s kit. Previously, Falck’s S21 Syrette Pistol was capable of reviving and healing allies at range.
Now, however, Falck will only be able to heal allies, not revive them, with her gadget.
Interestingly, reports indicate that the following new Battlefield 2042 gameplay first appeared at the press release back in June. Therefore, it’s fair to say that EA has been sitting on this footage for quite some time, and it may not be reflective of the final product.
And that’s far from all of Battlefield’s Specialists! We’ve still got 5 more Specialists to reveal, and we just got one returning fan-favorite from Battlefield 4!
More Specialists will be revealed later this month, and we can’t wait to see what else is in store for us! And with the Battlefield Open Beta arriving on PlayStation, it’s only a matter of time until we can jump in for ourselves.
But it seems that Battlefield 2042 will already have cheats available in the Beta. Let’s hope that the game’s considerable anti-cheat software will be enough to keep hackers at bay.
