Naughty Dog Promises ‘Several Cool Things’ Coming Soon

We won’t have to wait too long to see more from Naughty Dog, as the developer promises more projects are in the works.

One of Sony’s biggest developers has been a bit quiet in recent months, but Naughty Dog isn’t just twiddling its thumbs.

As we approach a year since the release of The Last of Us: Part II, fans have been waiting to hear more about what Naughty Dog has in store. The developer is best known for the aforementioned franchise, as well as the Uncharted series, Jak and Daxter, and the original Crash Bandicoot.

Of course, a year isn’t a long time in the gaming industry, but fans are still eagerly awaiting more news from Naughty Dog regardless. And it seems we won’t be waiting long.

Recently, fans found evidence for Uncharted 5 being on the way – could this be the mystery project in question?

Naughty Dog Has New Projects Coming Soon

According to Naughty Dog’s Neil Druckmann, the studio has new projects on the way. And it’s sounding like we won’t have to wait long to find out more.

Whether it’s the long-awaited PS5 upgrade for The Last of Us: Part 2, the Factions multiplayer game, or even a new Jak and Daxter, we’ll soon be learning all about it.

In a recent tweet, Neil Druckmann took the time to acknowledge fans’ thirst for new information.

The Naughty Dog writer and director asks fans to stay patient, promising:

“We have several cool things we can’t wait to share with you. As soon as we can, we will!”

In the meantime, it seems that Druckmann is tiring of the constant barrage of fan queries about upcoming PS5 projects. After all, it looks like The Last of Us could come to PC soon!

We’re certainly excited to see the first Naughty Dog project made exclusively for next-gen consoles. After all, the studio is able to accomplish so much with just the PS4 hardware.

If you’re yet to get your hands on Sony’s powerful device, there’s a new PS5 restock dropping tomorrow!

This isn’t the only big reveal we’re waiting on, as leaks indicate that an Elder Scrolls 6 reveal could be coming soon too. Speaking of leaks, a Spider-Man 2 insider reveals that the game will have 3 playable characters…

And as we’re now seeing the first Elden Ring footage surfacing online, it’s an exciting time for AAA game reveals.

But if you’re looking for something to play in the meantime, don’t miss your chance to get Final Fantasy 7 Remake for free on PS4 and PS5.
