A leaker has hinted that a PvP mode will be coming to MWZ, meaning that you’ll have to face off against zombies and enemy operators at the same time!
Modern Warfare 3’s Zombies mode drops you into a map full of undead, alongside up to 24 other players. Although, even if you’ll likely come across enemy operators in MWZ, you can’t kill them.
This could all be about to change though, as Zombies may be getting a PvP mode!
Leaker Teases Upcoming MWZ PvP Mode
Call of Duty leaker Reality posted an image of Modern Warfare 3 Zombies to X (formerly Twitter) with the caption “Pvpve”.
This hints that MWZ could be getting a mode where you can fight against other players, as well as zombies, as PvPvE is a team, meaning player vs player vs environment. This would be similar to how DMZ was in MW2, where you could fight against AI enemies or player-controlled operators on the same map.
While this is only a small hint, it’s also worth noting that Reality claims that it’ll be “a separate mode”. Therefore, the current MWZ should stay unchanged, and player vs player combat will only be only in a specific game mode within Zombies.
Will be a separate mode don’t worry— Reality (@r3al1tyuk) January 24, 2024
Stay tuned for the next major update to Zombies in MW2 Season 2. Hopefully, this will include some kind of PvP content.
Until then, you can get a glimpse of what a player vs player Zombies experience looks like thanks to this glitched MWZ PvP lobby!
