Having a Wonder Weapon is a great way to take down vast hordes of Zombies, and in MWZ, you can even craft them.
Using the crafting feature means you can guarantee that you load into a match with powerful weaponry. However, it is not as simple as it sounds. You will first need to acquire a specific item in-game.
Let’s dive into a complete walkthrough of how you can craft Wonder Weapons in MWZ. This way, those missions will be completed in no time.
How Do You Craft Wonder Weapons?
To craft Wonder Weapons in MWZ, you must find a schematic for the Ray Gun or Wunderwaffe DG-2 and successfully exfil with it in your inventory.
Once you have a schematic for either weapon, follow these steps:
- On the MWZ main menu, navigate to “GEAR.”
- Click on your rucksack and “Add Item.”
- Enter “Schematic Crafting” and head over to “Wonder Weapons.”
- Press X on PlayStation / A on Xbox / Left Mouse Button on PC to craft the weapon of your choice.
If you do not have the Schematic, you cannot create a Weapon Case for these weapons. However, once you exfil with one, you have it forever.
Additionally, after crafting, you will have a 48-hour cooldown before being able to create another one.
Note: There is no schematic available for the Scorcher, MWZ’s new Wonder Weapon.
How to Get Wonder Weapon Schematics
To get Wonder Weapon Schematics in MW3 Zombies, you will have to:
- Complete Contracts.
- Shown in blue in the image below.
- Clear out Aether Nests.
- Shown in pink in the image below.
- Clear out Infected or Mercenary Strongholds.
- Shown in red in the image below.
We recommend doing the tasks above in the higher threat zones, shown in orange and red on the map. With the higher risk of dying, the level of rewards will also be increased.
After doing one of the following, there is a chance the Schematic will spawn in the Reward Rift on contract completion or in the Aether Loot Crates at nests or Strongholds.
It is worth noting that the Wonder Weapon Schematics are classed as “Ultra-Rare,” meaning the chance of getting one is lower than any other Schematic.
