According to a data mine, the date of the MW3 Reveal Event in Warzone was just leaked online. This event will pave the way for the new Call of Duty title and give us our first glimpse at the potential story.

Activision already confirmed that they will announce COD 2023 through an in-game event in Warzone during Season 5. They just didn’t announce the exact date of the event.

However, thanks to the Season 5 update files, it seems that we may finally have a date of when we can expect to see the MW3 Warzone Reveal Event.

Warzone MW3 Reveal Event Expected Date Details

The Warzone MW3 Reveal Event, supposedly called Shadow Siege, is expected to take place on August 17, 2023, according to leaks found by data miners in the Season 5 update files.

This date would also align with the current end of the Factions Event in Warzone at moment that will end on August 16th with a ‘ceasefire’ between Shadow Company and Task Force 141.

This data-mined leak has gained traction recently, but as with any other leak, it should be taken with a grain of salt.

The developers themselves have not provided an exact release date, nor have they confirmed that the upcoming game really is Modern Warfare 3. However, due to a Monster Energy leak earlier this year, we know that COD 2023 is definitely MW3.

If the leak is real, then it seems that Call of Duty has some promotional material ready to release before the actual event. So players will have some time to prepare for the date and take part in the event.

We don’t have too many details on what the event will bring, but in the Season 5 Road Map, Call of Duty did mention that players would have the opportunity to take part in the limited-time event.

The blog post also showed a picture of the Al Mazrah Observatory in flames.

It is likely that this has to do with the in-game event and that players will need to navigate to that location to help the Shadow Company in some way.
