A new MW3 patch has supposedly fixed the long-standing issue of not being able to unlock camos for MW2 guns in Zombies, but players are still having plenty of problems!
Ever since the Season 1 update for Modern Warfare 3 dropped in early December, many players have not been able to progress camo challenges for MW2 guns in the Zombies mode. This has left many Zombies fans patiently waiting for a patch to fix this issue.
Fortunately, Sledgehammer Games has released a patch to fix MW2 camo unlock in Zombies. However, many players are still unhappy!
Camo Unlocks in Zombies Are Finally Fixed – Or Are They?
Call of Duty Updates on X (formerly Twitter) announced that a small MW3 patch was deployed on January 8, 2024.
This update reportedly fixed the issue that many Modern Warfare 3 players had, regarding not being able to progress MW2 weapon camo challenges in the Zombies mode.
While Sledgehammer Games claims that it has fixed this issue, players in the replies say otherwise.
it’s still not progressing … pic.twitter.com/HyNmqVDZhU— أُبي ☀️ (@iBrandish) January 9, 2024
Many players can still not progress their camos for MW2 guns in MW3 Zombies, and the reactions range from disappointed to frustrated that they have wasted their time.
Still bugged. Just wasted an hour.— Large Dr Pepper (@LargeDrPepper_X) January 9, 2024
Currently, it is now known why this fix hasn’t worked. However, the most likely explanation is that some of the camo challenges are now working, while others still don’t.
Hopefully, Sledgehammer Games releases a follow-up patch soon to fix the remaining MW3 Zombies camo challenges that aren’t working.
Until then, you could spend hours trying to unlock the Magma camo in MW3. Although, that certainly depends on how long you’re willing to grind!
