It appears Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is one of the most viewed games on Twitch right now. Here’s why it’s happening!
Modern Warfare 2 has remained one of the best, if not the best, Call of Duty games to ever exist. As a result, the sequel to this legendary title did well during its time as well.
On top of this, the Call of Duty franchise is making waves by taking a break from releasing their yearly title. The decision was sudden and the franchise has been releasing games each year without fail for the last 18 years!
Despite the controversial decisions surrounding the franchise, Modern Warfare 3, which was released in November 2011, is attracting massive viewership.
Why Is Modern Warfare 3 (2011) Getting So Many Viewers on Twitch?
It seems that some of the biggest Spanish streamers are setting new viewership records for Call of Duty games on Twitch.
Several Spanish-speaking streamers have decided to host a Modern Warfare 3 tournament amongst themselves. The tournament is called “Torneo Modern Warfare 3 Old School”, which as evident means “Old School Tournament for Modern Warfare 3.”
It is a friendly tournament with everyone participating to go on a trip down memory lane. Here’s a list of the top streamers playing Modern Warfare 3 on Twitch right now, along with their follower count:

The game has hit a peak of 420,000 concurrent viewers and can grow significantly in the next few hours.
With that said, Modern Warfare 3 is comfortably beating the viewer count of the biggest games on Twitch, including the likes of Grand Theft Auto V, League of Legends, Valorant, and Elden Ring.
In other news, Call of Duty fans are blaming Vanguard and Cold War for Warzone’s decline. Who would have thought multiple integrations will ruin an already perfect game!
Finally, there’s good news as Activision will support Modern Warfare 2 (2022) with Warzone 2 and tons of updates.
