If you want to get your hands on MW3 before anyone else, you won’t want to miss the Campaign Early Access which is kicking off a week before launch.
Like with Modern Warfare 2, Activision is giving fans the chance to hop in early and enjoy the entirety of the MW3 Campaign with Early Access.
Unfortunately, to get your hands on the game, you’ll need to commit to purchasing this year’s Call of Duty title outright.

MW3 Campaign Early Access Release Date
The Call of Duty MW3 Campaign Early Access begins on Thursday, November 2, 2023. The full launch of MW3 takes place the following week, on Friday, November 10, 2023.
That’s up to 8 full days of Early Access, and plenty of time to finish the Campaign, allowing you to jump straight into Multiplayer and Zombies content on release day.
What Time Does MW3 Campaign Early Access Begin?
MW3 Campaign Early Access is now confirmed to begin at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET / 5 PM GMT on November 2.

This is the time that most major updates go live for Call of Duty, and it’s the same time that Campaign Early Access went live for MW2 last year.
Can You Pre-Load MW3 Campaign Early Access?
Yes, a pre-load will be available for the MW3 Campaign Early Access, most likely 24 hours before launch on Wednesday, November 1, 2023.
The Campaign pre-load is not currently live but the Modern Warfare 2 Campaign was available to download at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET last year.
We expect a similar treatment from Activision this year, however this has not been confirmed at the time of writing.
How to Play Modern Warfare 3 Campaign Early Access
In order to play the Modern Warfare 3 Campaign a week early, fans need to pre-order the game digitally on their chosen platform.
Players should note that buying a physical copy of MW3 does not come with Campaign Early Access.
Pre-ordering any version of MW3 will grant you Early Access to the game on your platform, whether that’s PlayStation, Xbox, Steam, or Battlenet.
Bear in mind that once you download and play the MW3 Campaign, you’ll be unable to cancel your pre-order on most platforms. However, Steam’s refund policy does give you a two-hour window with which to try out the Campaign before you lose the right to get your money back.
Will MW3 Campaign Have Rewards to Unlock?
MW3 has now confirmed Campaign rewards that players can unlock just for playing through the game’s story mode.
Players will be able to unlock the 4 Operator skins shown above, as well as several exclusive Calling Cards and more rewards that likely include Double XP.
Going by MW2’s offerings, MW3 Campaign rewards could include:
