The upcoming MW2 and Warzone Season 6 is the final season before the release of MW3, so here is everything Call of Duty has planned for it that we know of.

Players believe that Call of Duty has some interesting things planned for MW2 and Warzone Season 6 since it’s the final season before the huge gameplay changes coming in Modern Warfare.

Here are all the rumors and leaks so far for the upcoming season:

MW2 & Warzone Season 6 Release Date

MW2 and Warzone Season 6 is releasing on September 27, 2023 at 9 AM PT / 12 PM ET / 5 PM BST, according to the in-game timer of the Season 5 Battle Pass.

Countdown to Season 6:

The recent Zombie Ghost Operator Skin also seems to confirm this release date. In the press release, Activision seemingly confirms the Operator Skin will unlock with the start of Season 6 on September 27.

All MW2 & Warzone Season 6 Leaks & Rumors

Here is everything we know about MW2 & Warzone 6, including any leaks and rumors:

The Warzone Season 6 Key Art itself reveals that Spawn is definitely coming with Season 6 and may even be included in the Battle Pass. In the key art itself, we see a sort of demonic presence and chains next to Spawn.

This could point to the theme of the Haunting Event and possible collaboration with Diablo 4. Diablo 4 is another game published by Activision, so a large collaboration between the two is not at all surprising.

Dataminers have already found files that point to the inclusion of the Butcher from Diablo 4 in some way and icons for Lilith, the main antagonist of the game.

Halloween Event – The Haunting

According to leaks, MW2 and Warzone Season 6 will host a “Haunting Event” in October to celebrate Halloween.

In the past, Haunting Events have happened in Call of Duty and changed the aesthetics of Verdansk to fit the Halloween theme. It is likely that this will also happen in Season 6 with Al Mazrah.

This event will supposedly feature various Halloween skins and collaborations. The leaks also mentioned that this event would have a sort of “Ghost Hunter” aspect to it for Warzone and a Zombies aspect for Multiplayer.

There are also instances of a Hell Train in the game’s files, which seem to further prove that a Haunting Event is coming to Al Mazrah and that we may see other themed areas for the event in Warzone.

Season 6 Operators Leaked

According to leaks, there are four new Operators coming to MW2 and Warzone Season 6 that will fit the Haunting Event theme, including:

• Ash Williams
• Alucard
• Spawn
• Skeletor

There are also various new skins coming for some already existing Operators. The first is supposedly a brand new Captain Price Operator Skin with his outfit from the original Call of Duty 2 game.

Ghost is also receiving a new skin with the Zombie Ghost Operator Skin that is confirmed to be released during MW2 and Warzone Season 6 for those who pre-order the MW3 digital version.

To fit the Haunting theme, a few other Operators, including Claisto, Fender, and Kleo, will also receive brand new skins to use during Season 6.

Season 6 Weapons Leaked

Warzone and MW2 Season 6 will apparently introduce at least three new weapons for players to try out during the new Haunting Event, including:
