Here is when Season 4 Reloaded will release and what content has already been confirmed to arrive in the game.
MW2 & Warzone Season 4 Reloaded Release Date
MW2 and Warzone 2 Season 4 Reloaded will arrive on July 12, 2023.
The update will almost certainly be available at 9 AM PT / 12 PM ET / 5 PM BST, as usual, on the day of its release.

MW2 & Warzone Season 4 Reloaded Early Patch Notes
The release of the Season 4 Reloaded blog post has revealed what will arrive in the mid-season update. Here is everything you need to know:
Vondel Battle Royale & New Gulag
In Season 4, the Vondel map debuted but only in the Resurgence mode. In Season 4 Reloaded, gamers can play this map in the classic Battle Royale format.
Fans will also be treated to a brand-new Gulag experience, as the classic BR mode brings the Vondel Gulag along with it. Resembling the iconic Showers, this Gulag will provide a throwback to Verdansk.

Rotating Resurgence Playlists
With two Resurgence maps now in the game, Call of Duty will rotate them throughout the playlists.
The Rotating Resurgence Playlists will switch between Vondel and Ashika Island after a specified duration within the game for the squad size.
At the moment, it is not known what this duration will be.

New Warzone in-game event
- Occupation Scan In Effect
- A returning event from Rebirth Island.
- The scan will detect and highlight all Operators who fail to take cover during the scan. To take cover, you must go prone or be underwater.
- Operators have a limited amount of time before the Occupation Scan exposure wears off, providing an opportunity to strategize and make the most of the situation.

New Warzone Contract
- Signals Intelligence Contract
- This Contract entails an Operator or squad hacking three contract phones scattered throughout the map.
- It will only be available on Vondel Battle Royale and other Resurgence modes.
- Signals Intelligence Contract was originally featured in DMZ but has been fine-tuned to suit Battle Royale gameplay.
Portable Redeploy Drone
Redeploy Drones were brought into Warzone 2 back in Season 2 Reloaded and now the portable versions are making their way too.
However, this time the Portable Redeploy Drone will only work for a single operator. You have the option to disembark from the drone at any point, or you can choose to wait until it reaches its highest point to achieve maximum altitude.

MX Guardian – New Shotgun
MX Guardian is a “A fully-automatic 12-gauge shotgun”. The pump and double-action Shotguns are designed for range and accuracy, while the full-auto MX Guardian excels at close-quarters combat.
The MX Guardian is a versatile weapon that offers semi-auto, burst-fire, and full-auto modes, with the option to equip Slug rounds for mid-range battles.
Despite its limited range and recoil, its high damage output and combat flexibility make it worth considering.

Raid Episode 4
Raid Episode 4 will be the final Special Ops mission released in Modern Warfare 2. The synopsis of this episode is:
Al-Qatala exerts control over an underground bunker housing a stockpile of missiles. Price, Gaz, and Farah uncover this disturbing revelation while on a quest to locate their missing comrades from Task Force 141 along the Urzikstan border
Among the missing members is Alex, who has deliberately maintained a low profile following his heroic deeds depicted in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (2019).

Vondel Waterfront 6v6 Core Map
The developers will also add Vondel Waterfront as a 6v6 Core Map, directly taken from the Vondel Warzone map.
This map will feature the floating houses from the Vondel POI, the Floating District. However, not everything will be the same.
Unlike in the Vondel Warzone map, players will be unable to swim underneath the houses. In addition, someone has boarded up several buildings, and two buildings, have received new Red and Blue coats of paint.
These newly painted Red and Blue buildings will mark the most prominent positions in Vondel Waterfront.

The Boys Crossover Operators
Three operator skins based on the Amazon Prime show The Boys wcomeming in the Season 4 Reloaded update. The characters from the show getting Operator bundles are:
- Starlight – Releasing July 12, 2023
- Homelander – Releasing July 16, 2023
- Black Noir – Releasing July 20, 2023
Call of Duty has not revealed what the Operators look like in-game but each bundle will cost 2.400 COD Points.
Temp In Call of Duty
Temp V is Vought’s very own product which can turn people into temporary Supes. Call of Duty players will be able to find this chemical in all maps and every mode, besides for Ranked Play.
Equipping one of the four Temp V superpowers will give you that extra edge to secure the victory. Here is all the powers you can gain:
- Charge Jump
- Will give players extra jumping ability to quickly propel them across the map. Player will take no fall damage while active and landing will generate a shockwave dealing damage to nearby operators.
- Electric Shockwave
- This will provide players with an electric blast that acts a “Super-EMP.” The explosion will damage players in the vicinity and render vehicles and equipment unusable.
- Laser Vision
- Laser Vision will give the Operator the power to levitate and shoot laser beams that sear through enemy players. However, while using, players will still be vulnerable to bullets.
- Teleport
- When active, gamers will be able to teleport forward in the direction they are facing. This will be helpful while disengaging from a fight.

Diabolical Camo Challenges
It seems mid-season camo challenges are a new tradition in Call of Duty and in Season 4 Reloaded you will have the chance to earn two new camos.
While the developers are yet to reveal what one of these camos look like, they do give a description. For completing each weapon classes challenge, you will earn a Vought approved gray camo.
For completing every weapon class challenge you will receive a superbly diabolical (and extremely red) universal camouflage. This camo can be seen in the image below.
Here are the challenges:

Overhaul to in-game Party Browser
The looking for party feature which allows players to discover parties with similar playstyles and communication options has been overhauled.
To improve this function Call of Duty have made the following changes:
- Dynamic Preferences
- Besides different forms of communication, an enhanced list of preferences also encompasses primary and secondary playstyle choices. These options could involve prioritizing faction missions or selecting between competitive and casual approaches to gameplay.
- Advertise Your Party
- Party leaders have the ability to broadcast their current party and attract like-minded individuals who share similar preferences. This allows you to assemble a squad of compatible teammates before jumping into the action.
- Browse Parties and Join
