Players can earn two new camos in MW2 and Warzone 2 by completing the Trophy Hunt Challenges. These new weapon skins can be earned by completing specific challenges with every weapon class.
While the challenges can be completed quickly in Modern Warfare 2 due to the shorter game duration and higher kill opportunities, players in Warzone will need to invest more time to complete them.
Let’s look at all the challenges, the camos, and how you can earn them in-game:
All Trophy Hunt Camo Challenges
For each weapon class in MW2 and Warzone 2, players can participate in the Trophy Hunt Camo Challenges and earn a unique camo upon completion.
Here are all the challenges:
- Assault Rifles:
- Get 250 Operator Kills
- Battle Rifles:
- Get 30 Headshot Operator Kills
- SMGs:
- Get 3 Operator Kills Without Dying 30 times
- Shotguns:
- Get 30 Hipfire Operator Kills
- LMGs:
- Get 50 Operator Kills While Mounted
- Marksman Rifles:
- Get 25 Longshot Operator Kills
- Sniper Rifles:
- Get 30 Longshot Operator Kills
- Sidearms:
- Get 50 Operator Kills
- Launcher:
- Get 40 Operator Kills
- Melee:
- Get 30 Operator Kills from Behind
Once players complete all these weapon class challenges, they will unlock an additional camo that can be applied to their weapons.
Fastest Way to Complete the Trophy Hunt Camo Challenges
The quickest way to complete these challenges is by playing in small-sized maps such as Shipment or Shoothouse. This is because they have more action, and games can be shorter.
For the challenges involving longshots, we recommend entering Ground War. These maps are much larger, with a higher chance of getting longshot kills.
However, if you do not own Modern Warfare 2, it will take you longer to finish them in Warzone 2. If you only have access to the Battle Royale, we suggest playing Plunder.
Plunder is a respawn game mode, meaning you will have more opportunities to complete the challenges. However, the developers have recently confirmed Plunder is not a permanent fixture in the playlist.
Trophy Hunt Camo Rewards
Completing the Trophy Hunt Camo Challenges will earn players the following rewards:
- Dark Bones – Earned for each weapon class by finishing the assigned challenge
- TBA – Earned by completing every weapon class challenge for Trophy Hunt.
