Season 1 of Call of Duty: MW2 is really looking to set the tone for the series. The most important thing to take away from the roadmap is the launch of Warzone 2, a sequel to one of the most popular battle royale games out there.
The original Warzone cemented Call of Duty as one of the frontrunners for battle royales. Unfortunately, Warzone Pacific’s map, Caldera, wasn’t too popular with the community.
Now with Warzone 2 and DMZ, Call of Duty looks to start a new era that will reestablish the trust of its player base.
