MW2 & Warzone 2.0 Could Get Footballer Operators

A leaker has revealed a list of Operators found in a datamine, suggesting that some iconic footballer Operators could be in MW2 and Warzone 2.0.

We’re a few weeks away from Modern Warfare 2’s release date, and over a month away from the release date of Warzone 2.

Despite this, we won’t know about any future events or crossovers until later on. However, we might have an idea about an upcoming collaboration.

This comes after a leaker revealed some Operator names in a recent tweet, including some famous footballers being found in files.

Messi, Neymar & Pogba Could Be in Modern Warfare 2 & Warzone 2.0

A prominent Call of Duty leaker, GhostofHope, tweeted a list of Operator names found in some game files. The list includes footballers Messi, Neymar, and Pogba.

UPDATE: Neymar Jr, Pogba, and Messi Confirmed for MW2, Warzone 2, & COD Mobile

This isn’t the only sports-related content in Modern Warfare 2, as new images of the Grand Prix map in MW2 have been revealed recently.

Game files usually suggest something in development or something ready. However, developers can remove them in future updates or the full release of the game. For example, we recently saw many DMZ missions leak in a datamine.

Out of the 10 Operators that Hope shared, three of them are Messi, Pogba, and Neymar. While some of the other Operators could indicate other footballers coming to MW2, we can’t say for certain right now.

This lines up with the upcoming FIFA World Cup, which is starting on November 20, 2022. This will be a few days after the release date of Warzone 2.0.

Of course, this is still a leak, so we suggest not getting your hopes up. That being said, datamined files usually have some truth to them.

In other Modern Warfare 2 news, it looks like a classic Call of Duty map pack could be coming to MW2.
