A new playlist called “The Naughty List” has been added to Modern Warfare 2 and it features a Christmas-themed version of Shipment!

Christmas and the New Year are just around the corner and Infinity Ward has been getting into the festive spirit.

Shipment has only recently come to MW2 in the latest Season 1 Reloaded update, and now the game developers have decorated the map with Christmas ornaments.

What is The Naughty List in Modern Warfare 2?

The Naughty List is a brand new playlist in MW2 Multiplayer that features just one map – a festive rendition of fan-favorite Shipment.

The Naughty list is a Mosh Pit playlist featuring the following game modes:

  • Team Deathmatch
  • Hardpoint
  • Domination
  • Kill Confirmed

All matches on this map will be 6 v 6, similar to the regular version of Shipment.

What Is Shipmas?

Shipmas is the name for this festive version of the close-quarters map Shipment. This is a combination of both the words Shipment and Christmas.

This map will only be in the game for a couple of weeks as when The Naughty Playlist ends, the regular version of Shipment will return in the map rotation.

Shipmas VS Shipment Differences

The only differences between Shipmas and Shipment are visual. The layout of both maps is identical and both maps will play the same.

The visual changes made to Shipment include:

  • Snowy Weather
  • Christmas Wreaths & Trees scattered around the map perimeter
  • Presents & Toys found around the map
  • Festive spray paints on containers
  • Christmas bows and lights found around the map

The changes made to this map make it one of the many evolutions of Shipment we have seen across the years.

MW2 “The Naughty List” Playlist End Date

The Naughty List will be in Modern Warfare 2 until 4 January 2023. It will likely be removed from the game at 6 PM GMT / 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET on this date, as this was the time it was released on 21 December 2022.

Once The Naughty List playlist is removed from MW2, we likely won’t see it return anytime soon as this playlist is seasonal. However, seeing as MW2 has a two-year cycle, we could see it return at the end of 2023.

Due to its hectic nature, Shipment is one of the best maps to level your rank and weapons up! So make sure you are using one of the best loadouts in MW2.
