How to Get Oni Skin in MW2 & Warzone 2.0

Some players can get their hands on the rare Oni Operator in MW2 – here’s how to unlock him as well as a high-level blueprint.

There are plenty of Operators to unlock in MW2, but none are as exciting as Oni. Hiro Wantanabe, going by the codename Oni, is a lethal Japanese gun-for-hire, who is a descendant of a historic Samurai clan.

How to Get Oni Operator & Blueprint in Modern Warfare 2

Players who pre-ordered MW2 on PS4 or PS5 will get access to the Oni Operator, as well as the Dragonfly blueprint for the M4.

You can equip the skin by going to the Operators tab and equipping Oni. He’s available with the KorTac Faction, on the right-hand side of the Operators screen.

This means anyone who owns Oni and has a copy of Modern Warfare 2 on another platform won’t be able to play as him.

However, you can still use his incredible Dragonfly blueprint on other platforms.

You’ll want to find out how to equip blueprints in MW2 to make sure of the Dragonfly blueprint as soon as possible.

Those on other platforms may have to wait over a year after Modern Warfare 2’s release. The PlayStation Store suggests Oni is PlayStation exclusive until October 27, 2023.

However, the length of exclusivity could increase if PlayStation strikes another deal with Activision.
