A new mode has landed in MW2 as players gear up in Gunfight Snipers, where the weapon choice has become limited.
Unlike most modes in Modern Warfare 2, players will be restricted in which weapons to load into the match. Only Sniper Rifles and Marksman Rifles will be available to use.

What Is Gunfight Snipers in MW2?
Gunfight Snipers is a 2v2 Gunfight variant where players are only given Snipers and Marksman Rifles.
Participants have 40 seconds to eliminate opponents on the opposing team; if they fail, a flag will spawn in the center.
Teams must capture the flag within 10 seconds to secure the round victory. The first team to claim victory in 6 rounds emerges as the overall winner of the game.
What Weapons Are Available in Gunfight Snipers in MW2?
In Gunfight Snipers, only Sniper Rifles and Marksman Rifles are available. These loadouts are randomly given to players.
Here are the weapons you could receive:

- SP-X 80
- Carrack .300
- Signal 50
- Victus XMR
- LA-B 330
- SP-R 208
- SA-B 50
- Tempus Torrent
- Lockwood MK2
These weapons can come with a randomly generated set of attachments or without any at all. Players will not have any choice in what they receive.
