It’s almost time for the MultiVersus Open Beta and we’re getting an early look at the moveset for Iron Giant.
MultiVersus is a free-to-play platform fighter by Player First Games, featuring iconic Warner Bros. characters. We first got our hands on it for a Closed Alpha back in May, and the game is truly something special.
After all, where else can you face off against Batman, Bugs Bunny, Arya Stark, and Ultra Instinct Shaggy in a single game?
Now, MultiVersus is officially revealing more details about its Iron Giant character, one that’s confirmed to be dropping alongside the Open Beta. And we could be about to get that release date we’ve been waiting for!
And we’ve got big news regarding everything you’ll unlock in the MultiVersus Open Beta too!
Iron Giant Moveset in MultiVersus
In MultiVersus, each fully-voiced character has a unique and interesting moveset. Here’s a breakdown of the abilities currently revealed for Iron Giant:
First of all, Iron Giant is a Tank class, and for good reason. According to past tweets from Game Director Tony Huynh, the beloved character will be huge in-game, so expect the gigantic robot to tower over the rest of the cast.
- Superman! – Flies upward with his fist held heroically
- Bolt Friends – Summons bolts as armor with an electrical discharge on delay
- Blast Radius – Ignites his rocket boots to create a fire trail along the ground
As with the majority of Tank characters, Iron Giant will likely be best when partnered with a high DPS individual. We already know that Batman will have major buffs in the Open Beta, and we bet he’s not the only one.

While MultiVersus initially teased ‘good news’ dropping on July 14, a reply to YouTube creator ExoKagura reveals more info will arrive at 9 AM PT.
Could this be the MultiVersus Open Beta dates we’ve been waiting for? At the very least, it’s sure to be a nice reveal for fans.
Hopefully we’ll find out why Naruto assets are already in the MultiVersus files before long…
