MultiVersus has its official Open Beta kicking off today, and there are 4 ways to get early access to the trial.
Just a few months back, we were treated to the MultiVersus Closed Alpha, the first official trial of Warner Bros’ platform fighter. And although Player First Games gave a lot of fans access, there are still a lot of gamers who are still yet to play the highly-anticipated title.
The good news is that the Open Beta is finally here! And for those that don’t want to wait for the official MultiVersus Open Beta release date, there are a number of ways to get yourself some early access.
For early access players, the MultiVersus experience begins today! You can drop in and experience all currently-revealed characters from Day One, and try out the new Iron Giant moveset before anyone else.
Here’s how to get access to the MultiVersus Open Beta today!
How to Get Access to MultiVersus Open Beta
There are 4 methods to get yourself a key to the MultiVersus Open Beta. Here’s how each one works:
Closed Alpha Players
If you’ve already played MultiVersus in its Closed Alpha or any other testing phases, sit back and relax! You’ll get access to the Open Beta as soon as it goes live.
For everyone else, thankfully, there are some other options available.
MultiVersus Twitch Drops
The easiest (and completely free) way to get your hands on MultiVersus today is via Twitch. Simply link your WB Games account to Twitch to get started.
Then, watching 1 hour of a streamer who has MultiVersus drops enabled will automatically get you a key to the Open Beta. Best of all, every streamer will have the chance to enable drops, so there will be plenty of access out there.
However, if you want to skip the hour-long wait and get started with some extra goodies, the MultiVersus Founders Pass is for you. By purchasing one of the new MultiVersus Founders Pass options, players will unlock exclusive content, free characters, and get immediate access to the game.
Since all Open Beta progression carries over to release day, it’s not a bad option for fans of the game.
Finally, although this method won’t apply to the majority of the player base, those who will be competing at EVO will get instant access to MultiVersus.
If you’re a competitive player attending Sony’s event this August, enjoy playing MultiVersus from today onwards.
More MultiVersus reveals are just around the corner, even while the Open Beta is live. Did you know that Naruto references are in the MultiVersus game files already?
