MultiVersus Mobile Version Leaks for iOS and Android

It looks as though Warner Bros.’ fighting game could be coming to mobile, according to a recent MultiVersus datamine.

If you’ve been enjoying playing MultiVersus, the new Warner Bros. platform fighter, you’re not alone. The free-to-play game has already seen a staggering amount of success since the release of its Open Beta.

But unfortunately, it’s not all been smooth sailing for the game so far. In fact, we just got the disappointing news that MultiVersus Season 1 and its next character just got delayed.

One of the best aspects of the new release from Player First Games is that it’s complete cross-play and cross-progression across all platforms. And soon, it seems that that could even include mobile devices.

Is MultiVersus Coming to Mobile Devices?

According to a new datamine, it seems that a MultiVersus iOS and Android port is already in the works, signifying that a mobile launch could be in the game’s future.

This isn’t the first MultiVersus datamine to reveal exciting information about the game. A recent leak from the in-game files teased that one of the game’s next characters is a member of the Teen Titans.

Now, dataminers are finding references to the title’s mobile port, including some upcoming assets. Despite an iOS and Android version not being officially confirmed by Player First Games, it seems that it’s definitely at least under consideration.

Dataminer multiversusie on Twitter recently posted an image of two MultiVersus assets which appear to be designed for an upcoming mobile version of the game. According to the game’s code, these two images are likely on-screen buttons for Jump and Attack or Special moves.

What’s more, the datamine seems to reveal two versions of the game, for iOS and Android. Considering that these assets are already in the game’s code, it might suggest that the mobile port could be just around the corner.

Of course, we don’t expect that a mobile port is top of the list of priorities just yet. First, this massive balance patch is on the way to MultiVersus, with new characters to follow.

And speaking of new characters, Game Director Tony Huynh revealed that he’s going to try really hard to get these two iconic fighters in MultiVersus.
