Infinity Ward has released a new update in Call of Duty Modern Warfare. Here are the patch notes for the January 11th update, which is available on Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
Fortunately, today’s update is an in-game patch, so you won’t be required to download anything on your platform. Although it doesn’t offer anything too substantial, Infinity Ward has thankfully released the entire list of changes for today’s update. It generally consists of bug fixes after numerous complaints.
MW Patch Notes for Jan. 11
- Throughout the past few weeks or so, there have been various different complaints regarding Karst River Quarry. Today’s patch fixes a few glitch spots on the map that required vehicles to access.
- Previously, the “Mark 25 Enemies Using the Recon Drone” challenge was not tracking properly. Now, Infinity Ward has released a fix to prevent this from happening.
- Another issue in the past month or so involved players losing unconsumed tickets. This has now been fixed.
- Another fix has also been introduced, although it applies specifically to Infected. If more than 9 players are Infected, the player will not have a throwing knife available after using a Tac Insert.

It’s important to note that this is just a game settings update, so you shouldn’t expect anything too major. The next Modern Warfare title update is when you can expect to see new additions and changes introduced to the game.
These patch notes are from the official Infinity Ward website. There doesn’t appear to have been any other fixes added to the game apart from the ones detailed above.
