Call of Duty Modern Warfare’s second season is now heading into the content refresh phase. While there’s not too long left to finish up the battle pass, let’s check out when the Modern Warfare Season 3 release date and time is.

If tradition is anything to go by, it looks like Season Three will launch instantly after Season Two ends.

When Does COD MW Season 3 Start?

Bar any delays, Modern Warfare Season 3 will begin on Tuesday, April 7th, 2020. This is based on the battle pass end timer available in-game, but once again, it wouldn’t come as a surprise to see Infinity Ward delay it given their recent history.

Activision nor Infinity Ward is yet to shed light on the release time, although based on past occurrences, it appears as though the next season will launch at 6PM GMT / 10AM PT.

The new season will come in the form of a brand-new update, meaning you’ll have to install the new version on your platform beforehand. Given this won’t be any ordinary patch – considering it’s the launch of a new season – you can expect several more changes than usual, including new maps, weapons, and more.

While it’s touted to introduce various substantial additions among a host of minor fixes, it’ll likely take up a lot of space. In fact, Season 2 weighed in at a hefty 60GB depending on your platform, so you’ll need to clear up a little space and ensure you have a good internet connection prior to its arrival. This is if you want to get your hands on it as soon as possible, of course.

Infinity Ward will likely share more details closer to the launch of Modern Warfare Season 3. Stay tuned for more information, as we’re on the lookout for any official news.
