Upcoming Call of Duty Revealed to be Modern Warfare 2

Infinity Ward has officially announced and showcased the logo for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 on its official Twitter page.

When Infinity Ward was announced to be handling Call of Duty 2022, many fans speculated that we would be seeing a sequel to Modern Warfare (2019).

Well, it seems that those speculations were spot on. Infinity Ward changed all its social media profile pictures to a dark image.

Many players believed this was a reference to the iconic Modern Warfare quote “Bravo Six, Going Dark.” This latest tweet confirms their speculation.

Infinity Ward took to Twitter to share the official logo of the upcoming Modern Warfare 2.

The developer is also pushing several hashtags to spark conversation amongst fans of the Modern Warfare saga.

Despite all this, not much else was revealed regarding what we may see in Modern Warfare 2.

Besides the logo, Infinity Ward has yet to disclose any other information just yet. According to a recent leak, we could see a full reveal on April 30.

Furthermore, the original Modern Warfare 3 dominated the viewership on Twitch nearly ten years after its release.

One can only imagine what numbers a modern-day Modern Warfare could do with a successful launch.
