Mauer Der Toten has a helpful AI to assist you in slaying the undead – here’s how to build Klaus.
The last round-based Zombies map added to Black Ops Cold War was Firebase Z back in Season 1 Reloaded. Now, 3 seasons later, we finally have our hands on Mauer Der Toten, and it’s shaping up to be everything we hoped it would be.
As we head into the new map, players are tasked with capturing the traitor responsible for unleashing the undead on Berlin. But you won’t be in this alone, and there’s more than just a powerful new Wonder Weapon to aid you in your fight.
In the new survival map, players can build themselves an ally out of scattered parts from around the map. When you’re all done assembling the pieces, you’ve got yourself a dependable and obedient assistant.

His name is Klaus, and you might remember him from this Mauer Der Toten trailer. But putting Klaus together is going to require some real map knowledge.
“DO NOT HUG, HANDSHAKE, OR HIGH-FIVE,” Klaus’ blueprint reads. “KLAUS HAS NO CONCEPT OF HUMAN FRAGILITY.”

Where to Find All 3 Klaus Parts in Mauer Der Toten
If you’re looking to build Klaus, you’ll need to collect all 3 parts of the AI companion from around Mauer Der Toten.
Before attempting to build Klaud you will need to make sure:
1. The power is turned on in Mauer Der Toten:
2. Get a fancy Pack-a-Punched weapon:
Microwave Dish Part (Part 1 of 3)

For the Microwave Dish, head over to the Death Strip, directly to the right of Checkpoint Charlie where the Pack-a-Punch is found. While in this area, you will occasionally enter a Danger Zone and begin hearing a beeping noise.
While this is happening, dig up one of the nearby Debris Piles to recover the Microwave Dish Part.
Next, head to the Garment Factory and place the Microwave Disk on the Upgrade Station.
Battery Part (Part 2 of 3)

Finding Klaus’ Battery Part is easy, simply get to Round 10 and face off against the Krasny Soldat. We first saw the special armored enemy arrive in Outbreak mode, and defeating it here will drop you a Battery.
Next, take that Battery down to the underground Safe House and insert the battery into Klaus’ body.

Klaus’ Hands Part (Part 3 of 3)

Finally, we must turn a zombie into an ally to recover Klaus’ Hands. By using either the Brain Rot Ammo Mod or the Elemental Pop Perk, get a member of the undead under your control.
You’ll want to do this inside Hotel Room 304. Your new undead friend will immediately run to a barricaded door and break it down for you.
It’s in this very room that you’ll be able to grab the free Wonder Weapon in Mauer Der Toten! However, you’ll need to complete a few extra steps, including getting Klaus online!
Approach Agent Jack on the bed and collect Klaus’ Hands from around his neck. Attach the hands to Klaus back in the Safehouse.
From this point on, your Tactical Grenade will control Klaus, who will join you in your fight against the undead hordes. He will even revive you when you get downed!
But that’s not all! You can now upgrade Klaus to give him some serious firepower and a new appearance!
