Nintendo E3 2021 Games Leak
Interestingly, the latest Nintendo E3 2021 leak comes from a credible source who has been correct about a number of rumors in the past. The name of the leaker is ‘Zippo’, a source who has correctly predicted Nintendo titles in the past such as Paper Mario: The Origami King.
However, it is always important to remember to take any rumor with a pinch of salt. Although the source has been correct in the past, there is no way to verify the information as of yet. Despite this, let’s kick things off with a list of all the Nintendo titles that are likely to be revealed at this years E3 event:
Interestingly enough, the leak also happens to correlate with another Nintendo Switch leak, which revealed huge games possibly releasing this year. This time around, however, there are a couple of new additions to the list.
Nintendo E3 2021 – New 2D Metroid
To start with, a title that Nintendo fans have desperately been holding out hope for is a new Metroid game. Now, a 2D title is exactly what is likely to be announced during Nintendo’s E3 2021 presentation. Furthermore, according to new information, the game is also being made by Mercury Steam.
For those who are unfamiliar, Mercury Steam is the creator of the popular Samus Returns. The latest Metroid installment is supposedly already completed and will likely release this year. Interestingly enough another massive Nintendo leak also hinted at new Metroid news back in April.
New Donkey Kong Game Reveal
Similarly, alongside a 2D Metroid game, fans can also expect to hear news regarding a new Donkey Kong game. Furthermore, the title is rumored to be completely different from the Country series. Despite this, the game may also feature similar elements to what Nintendo achieved in Super Mario Odyssey.
Although Nintendo wants to focus on creating ‘new game series’ in the future, Nintendo also seems committed to delivering fresh approaches to its existing titles.
Super Mario Party 2
Following on from the latest Nintendo E3 2021 leaks, a new Mario Party game is also set to make an appearance. Furthermore, the game is rumored to simply be titled Mario Party 2. Whereas many fans were disappointed in the last installment, Zippo assures players that the focus this time will be on creating an abundance of boards and content.
If you enjoy a fun party-themed game, this will be right up your street. The game is rumored to arrive around September or October, but will not be Nintendo’s big holiday release.
New Fire Emblem Title To Be Unveiled
Although Fire Emblem players had the recent Fire Emblem: Three Houses to keep them entertained, a new Fire Emblem game is also likely to be showcased at Nintendo’s E3 2021 presentation. However, details are scarce for this particular title. Furthermore, it is unclear whether this will be a new game or simply a remake of an existing game.
Mario Kart – Nintendo E3 2021 Reveal
Perhaps the most exciting announcement coming to Nintendo’s E3 2021 presentation that of a new Mario Kart game. Interestingly, the leaker has stated that Mario Kart has been worked on non-stop for a period of around three years.
Excitingly, the game is also rumored to be Nintendo’s big holiday reveal, with a release planned around December or January. If correct, players can look forward to more Mario Kart carnage by the end of the year.
Pokémon Presents – Detective Pikachu 2
In a rather surprising turn of events, Zippo has also unveiled that Detective Pikachu 2 may be revealed at a Pokemon Presents prior to E3. Although perhaps not the Pokemon news that fans are after, after the reveal of two new Pokemon games earlier this year.
Despite this, more leaks have indicated that a big reveal is coming for both Pokémon and Zelda relatively soon. For the time being, fans will have to satisfy themselves with a new Pokemon movie.
Zelda 35th Anniversary – Breath of The Wild 2
Speaking of Zelda, with the series celebrating its 35th anniversary this year, there is no better time for Zelda-related news. Sadly, however, players will likely not be getting their hands on Breath of the Wild 2 in 2021. Although, the game will feature at Nintendo’s E3 2021 presentation, likely a gameplay trailer or something similar.
Interestingly, there are also some rumored Legend of Zelda HD remasters which are supposedly confirmed for the event. According to new information, these titles are certain to arrive at E3 this year. Whilst BOTW 2 production has been heavily affected by the pandemic.
With the rumor that Nintendo is planning to unveil their Nintendo Switch Pro soon, players certainly have a lot of new titles to look forward to.
Furthermore, with how powerful the Switch Pro is shaping up to be, the latest Nintendo games announced at E3 2021 may look incredible on the new console.
Take a look at the Reddit post for yourself, which outlines Zippo’s leaks for this year’s E3 event. Just remember, this is subject to change and as of yet has not been confirmed.
However, there is also the worry that Nintendo may suffer parts shortages ahead of the Switch Pro’s launch. Despite this, there looks to be a ton of new games and surprises for players to be getting on with.
