Here’s a full rundown of everything you need to know about the October 2022 Pokemon Community Day featuring Litwick!

Community Days are always a highlight of every Pokemon GO player’s month and the one for October 2022 is one of the best in recent times.

This is because it features Litwick – an uncommon Pokemon that can be evolved into a powerful battling ‘Mon – Chandelure.

If that wasn’t enough, the Litwick Community Day will also feature more content like Raids, Research, and an exclusive attack for Chandelure!

This candle-like, Ghost/Fire-type Pokemon is a great choice for the October Community Day. Not only is it pretty spooky, but its final evolution, Chandelure, is a powerful Pokemon that every trainer wants to have.

When is the Litwick October Community Day in Pokemon GO?

The Pokemon GO Litwick Community Day is on October 15, 2022, from 2 PM to 5 PM local time.

For the duration of the event, Litwick will be spawning much more frequently, but that’s not all! There are limited-time event bonuses, Raids, Research, and more on the Community Day.

Litwick Community Day 4-Star Lampent Raids

Following the community day, from 5 PM – 10 PM local time, Lampent will be in 4-Star Raid battles. This is the evolved form of Litwick.

Additionally, after defeating a Lampent Raid will activate a bonus. Litwick will appear within a 300m radius around the Gym where Lampent was defeated for 30 minutes.

If you evolve Lampent into Chandelure at any point from 2 PM – 10 PM on the Litwick Community Day, it will know the Poltergeist charged attack.

This exclusive attack has 140 power in both trainer and Gym battles and the only other way to teach it to your Pokemon is by using an Elite Charged TM.

Can You Catch Shiny Litwick in Pokemon GO?

Yes, there is a shiny Litwick in Pokemon GO and there’s no better time to catch one than during the October 2022 Community Day.

This is because Community Days have an increased shiny rate, making it more likely for you to catch shiny Pokemon.

The Trick of the Light Special Research will reward players with plenty of Litwick Candy and encounters with Pokemon from the Litwick family.

The Litwick Community Day will also have Timed Research for every player to complete.

While we don’t know the exact Tasks, we do know that completing the Research will reward players with 5 Unova Stones!
