Fancy a return to the classic LEGO game experience? Here’s how to turn on Mumble Mode and remove the voice acting in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga.
Those who are used to older LEGO games might be surprised by the fact that The Skywalker Saga features actual voice acting. After all, the previous LEGO Star Wars games’ stories were told through a series of grunts and non-verbal communication.
The truth is, voice acting has actually been part of the LEGO games series for almost a decade now, ever since the release of LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes.
But for those who miss the original LEGO Star Wars charm, there’s a new Mumble Mode to bring you back to the good old days.
How to Turn Off Voice Acting in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga
To turn off voices and enable Mumble Mode in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, simply head into the Extras menu.
This is possible from any section of the game, simply by bringing up the pause menu and navigating to the option in the bottom right.
Here, you can turn on the LEGO Star Wars stud multipliers for faster income, change lightsabers to baguettes, and tweak other elements of the game – for a price.
Thankfully, TT Games has given players the option to enable Mumble Mode in the new LEGO Star Wars title for free. You can access the option right from the beginning of the game, should you prefer.
We have to say, the voice acting is excellent in the new title, but there’s a certain charm that Mumble Mode adds too. Feel free to toggle the option to your heart’s content!
