It seems that Meta Knight will be arriving in Kirby and the Forgotten Land, as well as some incredible Co-op Multiplayer.
One of the most exciting Nintendo reveals in recent history was the announcement of Kirby and the Forgotten Land. The upcoming title looks to be Kirby’s ‘Breath of the Wild’ moment, giving the classic character the adventure it always deserved.
Meanwhile, Pokemon is about to get its own Breath of the Wild-esque game too! It’s a fantastic time to be a Nintendo fan.
With wide-open environments, gorgeous graphics, and exciting combat, Kirby and the Forgotten Land looks like a dream for fans of the franchise. Now, a new trailer reveals that Kirby is getting Co-op Multiplayer when it releases on March 25, 2022.
After watching the new trailer, we’re certain you’ll agree that Kirby and the Forgotten Land belongs on the list of best upcoming Nintendo Switch games!
Kirby and the Forgotten Land Features Co-Op Multiplayer
In today’s new trailer, Kirby and the Forgotten Land reveals that Co-op Multiplayer allows 2 players to share in the fun.
Not only does the footage reveal some of Kirby’s Copy Abilities, but it also teases the addition of Multiplayer!
While there’s only one Kirby in this game, it seems you can use a second controller to play as Bandana Waddle Dee. Kirby’s ally comes complete with its own Spear-based moveset, meaning that Player 2 isn’t getting a raw deal.
Although newcomers might think that you’re controlling a generic character, Bandana Waddle Dee is so popular that we actually considered it as a potential Super Smash Bros. Ultimate cast member!
Players will be able to team up to save kidnapped Waddle Dees from the nefarious Beast Pack. Of course, the game is also playable alone too, making it one of the best single-player releases of 2022.
Kirby New Copy Abilities & Meta Knight
In the trailer, Kirby and the Forgotten Land also reveals 2 new Copy Abilities: Ranger and Drill. The character can now wield a drill to tunnel beneath the ground, popping up to surprise and launch enemies.
Alternatively, Ranger Kirby can blast enemies away with a firearm, even charging it up for a mighty shot.
And these abilities will come in handy when squaring off against Meta Knight, an iconic Kirby villain. It seems that in Forgotten Land, Meta Knight will once again be going sword to sword against Kirby, despite often being an ally.
Meanwhile, a new rumor is circulating right now, claiming that Mario Kart 9 is in active development with a new twist! Nintendo has been rather quiet about its upcoming projects lately, but 2022 is a big year for releases.
