Where to Find the Kinetic Blade in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2

Players can find a Kinetic Blade by heading either to the dueling ground at the southernmost part of the Fortnite map or to the bottom floor of the Pagoda building at Kenjutsu Crossing.

These locations are guaranteed to have one of these blades. Once at any of these sites, this melee weapon can be obtained by searching the katana stands.

The Kinetic Blade is simple to find, as it is a common spawn in both chests and can be found as part of Fortnite’s ground loot.

The weapon can be found all across the map, and there is no other POI where there is a higher chance of the blade appearing.

If you spot an enemy with the blade, you can also try to kill them from a distance, as the blade will be ineffective from long range.

This melee weapon is just one of the many new additions this season. It comes alongside a new movement mechanic that is specific to just one POI on the map.

How to Use the Kinetic Blade in Fortnite

The Kinetic Blade in Fortnite has two different attacks players can use – Dash Attack and Slash Knockback.

  • Dash Attack – Can perform this move three times without a recharge.
    • PC: Right Click
    • Xbox: Hold LT
    • PlayStation: Hold L2
  • Slash Knockback
    • PC: Left Click
    • Xbox: RT
    • PlayStation: R2

The Slash Knockback maneuver will need to be performed while in close proximity to your target; however, you can use the Dash Attack to close the distance faster.

As the name suggests, the knockback attack will propel the target backward, pushing them further away from you.
