Keemstar has announced a brand-new weekly tournament called Warzone Wednesdays.
When Call of Duty Warzone tournaments come to mind, there’s no better man for the job than Drama Alert’s “Keemstar”. Keem is familiar with the layout of these tournaments. He has previously hosted Friday Fortnite and Minecraft Mondays.
Epic Games shut down Friday Fortnite due to legal reasons, but Keemstar’s upcoming plans suggest fans have a lot to look forward to still. As of next week, Warzone Wednesdays will be live every week.
Warzone is the latest major addition to Modern Warfare. If recent figures are anything to go by, it’s fair to say its launch has taken the Call of Duty community by storm. With this in mind, it comes as no surprise to see tournaments for the popular mode finally emerge.
With high demand, these sorts of tournaments have been known to make players’ careers, so let’s hope it can live up to the hype.
Warzone Wednesdays Stream Schedule & Prize Pool
Hence the name of this tournament, Warzone Wednesdays goes live on Wednesdays. However, the first one will launch on Tuesday, March 24 – but this won’t be the case after.
There will be $20,000 up for grabs, Keemstar has officially confirmed via a recent tweet.
You’ll be able to watch the tournament presumably through Keemstar’s YouTube channel or from your favorite content creator who’s taking part. Keemstar is yet to clarify how the rules and format will work, but it’ll likely follow the same pattern as its predecessors (Friday Fortnite and Minecraft Monday). We’ll likely hear more details in the coming days, as its arrival is within touching distance.
With a large prize pool, there’s going to be various high-profile streamers who will take place in the event. Keemstar has requested that all participants pull at least 2000 viewers on Twitch.
Through a series of recent tweets, Keem has finally revealed the players and teams who will participate. Some of the participants are less-known, whereas others are very large streamers.
