This week’s Pokemon GO Spotlight Hour is taking place from 6 PM to 7 PM local time on July 4, 2023, and features the Normal/Flying-type Pokemon Rufflet.
For the whole duration of this 1-hour event, Rufflet will be spawning much more often in the wild, and there will be a great in-game bonus for every Pokemon trainer.
This is one of the most exciting Pokemon GO Spotlight Hours in a while, as Rufflet is usually pretty hard to find. In fact, it doesn’t usually spawn in the wild and can often only be obtained by hatching Eggs.
Additionally, the shiny version of Rufflet will be available to catch during the July 4 Spotlight Hour. This makes this event by far your best opportunity to get one!
July 4 Pokemon GO Spotlight Hour Bonus
The bonus for the July 4, 2023, Pokemon GO Spotlight Hour is 2x Stardust for catching Pokemon.
While this bonus only lasts for one hour, from 6 PM to 7 PM local time, you can maximize this boost by using a Star Piece. This item gives you an extra 50% Stardust on top of the double from the event bonus!
