Is This the Most Damage Possible in Black Ops Cold War Zombies?

After days of pushing the game to its very limits, one YouTuber may have found the most damage possible in Black Ops Cold War Zombies.

The new Black Ops Cold War brings with it one of the best Zombies experiences Call of Duty has ever contained. With so much to explore in just a single map, Die Maschine has a lot to unpack.

And with so many upgrades, gadgets to equip, and weapons to discover, we're still working out what the best setup is to use. Now, a new video might have all the answers.

We're not certain if this is the maximum damage able to be done in a single shot, but it's certainly the most we've seen just yet. In a recent video, YouTuber MrRoflWoffles manages a whopping 1.5 million damage in Black Ops Cold War Zombies.

The Most Damage Possible in Black Ops Cold War Zombies

Now that Black Ops Cold War Zombies introduces damage numbers into the game, we know exactly how much punishment we're inflicting to the undead. And of course, it's inspired a competition to see who can push those numbers to their highest.

The newest entry by MrRoflWaffles clocks in at a whopping 1,502,527 damage. It's certainly the highest we've seen in the game mode just yet.

Here's how the YouTuber accomplished such a feat and how you can reach 1.5 million damage for yourself:

Firstly, you'll need to use the Ring of Fire Field Upgrade. This upgrade not only kills nearby zombies, but it also boosts your damage by 5x when standing inside the ring.

Next, we're setting aside the best weapon in Black Ops Cold War Zombies in favor of the LW3 - Tundra. You can buy one of these off the Main Power room wall, but bringing one in via loadout might actually get better results.

Before entering the game, you'll also need to head into your Black Ops Cold War Zombies Skills and upgrade Sniper Rifles to give them bonus armor penetration and critical damage.

As an extra upgrade, take your LW3 - Tundra to the Die Maschine Arsenal and get it to Tier 5 for bonus damage. Now, you've got a gun capable of putting out around 200,000 damage per headshot, but that's still not quite enough.

Using the Perk Deadshot Daquiri Tier 1 upgrade will allow for 100% extra critical damage when shooting a full health enemy. The next level increases damage against armor by 50%.

Dealing 1.5 Million+ Damage in a Single Shot

But to make use of some of these upgrades, we'll need to be shooting an armored zombie. The boss zombie, also known as the Megaton zombie, is one of the only armored enemies in the game mode.

Because the Dead Wire ammo mod is extra effective against Megaton zombies, this will be our final necessary upgrade for the 1.5 million damage shot.

But there's one final item that we need to collect for its hidden damage buff. One of the Call of Duty: Zombies classic power-ups, Insta-Kill has a secret that most players have never realized.

Not only does Insta-Kill mean that most zombies are immediately eliminated in a single shot, but it also provides a 2.5x multiplayer to critical damage on boss enemies.

Using everything in the guide so far, plus Insta-Kill, MrRoflWaffles deals an incredible headshot elimination on an undamaged Megaton zombie. This leads to the tremendous 1,502,527 damage shot in Black Ops Cold War Zombies.

It's certainly an impressive method to the most damage possible in the game's Zombies mode. Most people will likely still use the Black Ops Cold War Zombies free Wonder Weapon to take care of the incoming undead, but a 1 million+ DPS sniper rifle is always a good option too.

It's hard to say if this weapon is worth incorporating into your Cold War Zombies high round strategy guide. It's certainly more specific than all-round beasts like the Ray Gun.

But with a few more weeks of gameplay under their belt, who knows how far the Call of Duty community can push the game?
