No, Hogwarts Legacy is not a PlayStation exclusive game, despite Sony seeming to have exclusive marketing rights to the Harry Potter title.
The Harry Potter game releases on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC all at the same time on February 10, with early access available from the 7th.
However, PS4 & PS5 players do get an exclusive Hogwarts Legacy mission in Hogsmeade that culminates in them owning their own shop!
PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch players will also get access to the game later in 2023. Here’s the full release schedule for Hogwarts Legacy so you know exactly when you’ll be playing.
The upcoming title, which lets players take control of their very own Hogwarts student and explore the school to their heart’s content, will be available on all major platforms.

Is Hogwarts Legacy Coming to Xbox and PC?
To everyone’s relief, Hogwarts Legacy is coming to Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC, in addition to PS4 and PS5!
However, PlayStation platforms will get exclusive access to The Haunted Hogsmeade Shop quest for a year.
Despite some rather PlayStation-heavy marketing, Hogwarts Legacy is not a PlayStation exclusive. However, it’s likely that Sony would love you to believe that it is, especially when it comes to placing those pre-orders.
Of course, the DualSense functionality is also quite the incentive when it comes to choosing your preferred platform. Those gamers who have secured themselves a PS5 might find it to be their console of choice for exploring Hogwarts.
