God of War Ragnarok is looking to be PlayStation’s biggest game in 2022, but will it come to Xbox or PC in the future?
Kratos’ move from Greek to Norse mythology has proven great for PlayStation, with God of War Ragnarok receiving high scores from critics.
Considering the glowing reviews, many players on other platforms may be wondering if they’ll get Kratos and Atreus’ latest adventure on their console.
Is God of War Ragnarok Coming to PC?
A PC port for God of War Ragnarok hasn’t been confirmed yet, however, we think it’s very likely to happen in a few years’ time.
This is because God of War 2018 saw a release for PC in January 2022. It’s probable that we’ll get a Ragnarok port eventually.

However, you’ll have to have a PS4 or PS5 to play the game for now. You could even purchase the God of War Ragnarok PS5 bundle.
God of War Ragnarok PC Release Date
If we had to make a guess, we expect to see God of War Ragnarok become available in January 2026 at the latest.
This is following 2018’s four-year gap between PlayStation 4 and PC release. If Ragnarok follows a similar release pattern, expect it to come in 2026.
However, you can always play the entire God of War series (aside from Ragnarok) so far on PC.
Will God of War Ragnarok Release on Xbox?
No, God of War Ragnarok will most likely never release on Xbox because none of the games from the series has been released on an Xbox.
None of the God of War games have become available on Xbox consoles, at least, not officially. God of War 2018 was available to play on Xbox via GeForce Now, Nvidia’s streaming service. However, it was recently pulled from GFN.

Players who had access to God of War 2018 before it left GeForce Now can still play it on Xbox. However, new players won’t be able to. This is the only time a God of War game has been available on an Xbox.
