New Discovery Sparks Interest for Modern Warfare Shipment 24/7 Playlist

Infinity Ward introduced two iconic maps to Modern Warfare earlier this week, Shipment and Vacant. You can play both of the maps on the Shipment and Vacant 24/7 playlist, although new evidence suggests one is more likely to come up than the other. This revelation has sparked interest for a Modern Warfare Shipment 24/7 only playlist.

Over on Reddit, one user allegedly noticed that Vacant is roughly 80% more likely to come up than Shipment in the 24/7 playlist. After trying to matchmake into Shipment 100 times, the user ‘OrtusPhoenix’ found out that Shipment appeared 19 times, whereas Vacant showed up 81 times.

There’s a logical explanation for this, however. Shipment lobbies are always full with 12 players, whereas most players leave Vacant lobbies. This results in more slots available for Vacant, making it more likely to get this map.

There are two ways to solve the issues above. Either introducing a map voting system to the game or a playlist dedicated to just Shipment.

Although this might seem like a bit of stretch, we have seen Infinity Ward introduce a 24/7 playlist for popular maps in the past. Think back to Shoot House, where the map received so much praise that they ended up bringing it back in a 24/7 playlist.

In fact, one Reddit user, who goes by the name of ‘plzhelpbb’, highlighted one excellent idea for Modern Warfare. Not only should there be a Shipment 24/7 playlist, Vacant and Shoot House should both also have one at the same time.

There’s no doubt that Shipment has its flaws, but the evidence suggests fans are desperate to continue playing the map. Hopefully, Infinity Ward will act upon players’ demands rather soon.

In addition to writing about video games, Matt also enjoys to play them. Matthew has a lot of experience in the industry. He has previously worked at Dexerto.
