A new job listing has revealed that Insomniac Games is working on a new multiplayer game alongside.
Insomniac Games is one of the most recognized studios in gaming. They recently made waves with their stellar rendition of Marvel’s Spider-Man.
They’ve cemented their PlayStation legacy with two of the most iconic characters ever, Ratchet & Clank.
And now it seems that they’re hard at work at bringing an entirely new multiplayer project to the PlayStation.

Insomniac Games Working On New Multiplayer Game
The Head of Technology at Insomniac Games, Shaun McCabe, has revealed that they are hiring a new Senior Manager for an unannounced multiplayer project.
This confirms that Insomniac Games is working on at least three different titles. Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, Marvel’s Wolverine 2, and a new multiplayer game.
Despite their recent influx of single-player games, Insomniac Games is no stranger to the multiplayer scene.
When the PlayStation 3 first launched, Insomniac launched one of the console’s most successful new IPs, Resistance: Fall of Man.
The title mixed Insomniac Games’ love of interesting weaponry and world design with the first-person shooter genre.
But after Resistance 3, it seemed that Insomniac Games was again focused on perfecting their single-player experiences with Ratchet & Clank and Spider-Man.
Recently, Insomniac’s Twitter account has been posting plenty of Resistance screenshots. This has led to speculation that a Resistance title could be in the works.
But to be fair, Insomniac Games tend to post a lot about their past series.
Although not much more is known about this multiplayer project.

PlayStation has recently made plans to prioritize games as a service evident to the gaming community. Their acquisition of Bungie was a significant step in this direction.
PlayStation already has plenty of powerhouse single-player IPs, but they do tend to lack in regards to multiplayer.
But now they have Naughty Dog also working on a Last of Us multiplayer project. Also, their recent acquisitions and finally this new Insomniac Games multiplayer project reveal.
It looks like the multiplayer world of PlayStation is about to get a considerable upgrade.
