It’s Fortnite’s 6th birthday celebration, and you can wish the Bus Driver a special Happy Birthday to thank them for all their hard work.
It’s that time of year again, and Fortnite is throwing a party to celebrate its 6th birthday. From September 19 – September 26, 2023, players will be able to earn bonus XP by completing Fortnite Birthday Quests in-game.
And one of those quests asks Fortnite fans to ‘Wish the Bus Driver a Happy Birthday.’ Here’s how it’s done:
Fortnite: How to Wish the Bus Driver a Happy Birthday
To wish the Bus Driver a Happy Birthday in Fortnite, simply press Down on the D-Pad or B on Keyboard while inside the Battle Bus, before dropping in.
This is the same way that you normally ‘Thank the Bus Driver’ in a standard game. However, from September 19 to September 26, this standard thanks will change to wishing the Bus Driver a Happy Birthday instead, as part of the 6th anniversary event.
You’ll get 20,000 XP simply for pressing a single button – not a bad trade in our books!
The rest of the Fortnite Birthday Quests are as follows:
- Dance With Characters in Different Matches (1)
- Collect Birthday Presents (3)
- Land During Fortnite’s 6th Birthday (4)
- Consume Birthday Cake (5)
- Use Balloons (6)
- Play Matches (6)
- Down Opponents (6)
Each quest will grant players 20,000 XP for completing them, but none are quite as simple as the one that asks you to Wish the Bus Driver a Happy Birthday in Fortnite.
What’s more, the Battle Bus will be sporting a special 6th birthday appearance for the duration of the event. Don’t miss out!
