September 2021 Nintendo Direct Date & Time

Less than a day after a new Switch controller leaked, Nintendo has announced a Direct presentation for September. However, it looks like the controller won’t be the main focus of the event.

The upcoming Nintendo Direct presentation will be around 40 minutes long and will feature information mostly about upcoming Nintendo Switch games launching this Winter.

This means we will almost certainly see more information about Samus’ return in Metroid Dread as well as additional Super Mario Party details.

While Pokemon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl is releasing this Winter, don’t expect to see it at the September Nintendo Direct as Pokemon tend to have their own shows. Although, there is still an outside chance.

Nintendo fans will be able to tune into the Nintendo Direct on September 23 at 3PM PT / 6PM ET. This will be streamed live on the Nintendo YouTube channel.

Additionally, as the presentation will be focused “mainly” on the games this Winter, there could also be some surprise appearances at the Direct. Let’s hope we get more Splatoon 3 details or possibly even some more Breath of the Wild 2 gameplay.
